Dr. Hackenmiller is an OB-Gyn and integrative medicine physician at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. She completed Dr. Andrew Weil’s integrative medicine fellowship at the University of Arizona, and continues the study of herbal medicine with Dr. Tieraona Low Dog. In 2015, Dr. Hackenmiller became the first medical doctor in Iowa to be fellowship trained and board certified in integrative medicine. Her passions include outdoor adventures and leading workshops on improving wellness through the natural means of nutrition, exercise, stress reduction, mind-body practices, and nature therapy.
