Chef Andy Schumacher of Cobble Hill will prepare a delectable five-course vegetarian meal utilizing Iowa’s amazing late-summer bounty paired with the chef’s approach to technique cuisine. Come and be wowed by this all-vegetarian, five-course feast, straight from the fields of Iowa and served to you on the beautifully lit patio of the Nature Center at sunset.
The event begins with a social hour at 6 p.m. featuring Lion Bridge Brewing Company’s Honey Kolsch beer, made with Indian Creek Nature Center’s honey, as well as a chef-made signature cocktail, and a selection of beer and wine. All beverages are included in your ticket price.

Textures of heirloom tomato; raw, jelly, paste with sweet peppers, seeded rice crisp, and Spanish goat cheese
Second Course
Chef’s favorite soup pour; roasted kabocha squash soup, ancho chile air, pumpkin seeds and their oil, and fried sage
Third Course
Elote as pasta; sweet corn tortelloni, charred corn, Spanish smoked paprika, cotija cheese, cilantro
Fourth Course
Mushrooms in a pouch; Applewood smoked trumpet mushrooms, potato gnocchi, mushroom butter, thyme, crispy leeks
Fifth Course
