Visit Indian Creek Nature Center and learn about raptors! Joan Schnabel, a local raptor educator, will be at the Nature Center with one of her birds of prey. Talk to Joan and learn more about the species of raptors we have in Iowa. Older children and adults are encouraged to come at 12 to 12:45 p.m., and young children and their parents are encouraged to visit the 1:15 to 2 p.m. session. Bring your questions and get up close to a raptor! This event is held in the classroom and due to space constraints is limited to 40 people per session. Pre-registration required. Free.
