Spend an evening at the Nature Center as we host the Winter Wildland Alliance Backcountry Film Festival, a compilation of films that celebrate the human-powered experience through winter adventures. Expect to be inspired to get outdoors! As a special treat, Jen Loeb, one of Iowa’s only female mountaineers, will kick off the evening as she shares her experiences summiting Mount Everest. Visit our vendor village and win raffle prizes during intermission, grab a beer and popcorn, and watch eight short films that feature human-powered, non-motorized winter outdoor sports in beautiful places around the world.
