Calling all Boy Scouts! Merit Badge Day at Indian Creek Nature Center gives you an opportunity to work with a team of experts in Bird Study, Geology, Fishing, Nature, Geocaching and Backpacking. Sign up for a morning session (8-11am), afternoon session (12-3pm), or stay for the full day. A one-hour lunch break will be provided from 11am-12pm. All sessions are located at Amazing Space 5300 Otis Rd SE. Scouts are responsible for bringing their own lunchPre-registration required.

**Prior to arriving for merit badge day, scouts are expected to have read through their corresponding merit badge book and to have thought about the requirements.

Morning Sessions 8am-11am

Bird Study - Scouts will attempt requirements 1 through 4, and 6 during the workshop. Scouts will start requirement 5 during the workshop but may need to finish it on their own. Scouts are responsible for requirements 7 and 8 on their own. Limited to 12 scouts.

Geology - Scouts will attempt requirements 1 through 5a during the workshop. Limited to 20 scouts.

Fishing - Scouts will attempt requirements 1 through 8 during the workshop. Please bring a fishing rod (if you have one). Scouts are responsible for requirements 9 and 10 on their own. Limited to 12 scouts.

Energy - Scouts will attempt requirements 1 through 3, and 5 through 8 during the workshop. Scouts are responsible for requirement 4 on their own. Limited to 12 scouts.

Afternoon Sessions 12-3pm

Nature Scouts will attempt requirements 1-3, 4a, 4b, 4c and 4e at the workshop. Scouts are responsible for one other requirement from 4 (d, f, g or h) on their own. Limited to 15 scouts.

Backpacking Scouts will attempt requirements 1-5, 7 and 8. Scouts are invited to bring personal gear with if they have some. Scouts will be responsible for requirements 6 and 9 thru 11 on their own. Limited to 15 scouts.

Geocaching - Scouts will attempt requirements 1-7. Scouts will be responsible for requirements 8 and 9 on their own. Limited to 15 scouts.
