Bring your friends and social change influencers for an exclusive film screening of “Wasted! The Story of Food Waste”. The films shows how food waste directly contributes to climate change and how small changes can solve one of the greatest problems of the 21st Century. After the film a panel of special guests will talk about food waste in the Corridor and what we can do to influence change. Panelists include: City of Cedar Rapids Sustainability Coordinator Eric Holthaus, Field to Family Food Hub Manager Giselle Bruskewitz, New Pioneer Food Co-op Marketing Specialist Genie Maybanks, Executive Director of Table to Table Nicki Ross, and Linn County Solid Waste Agency Education Director Jason Evans.
Doors open at 6:30PM, film starts at 7PM, panel discussion immediately following.
