Hit the Indian Creek Nature Center trails and learn to snowshoe with Soko Outfitters' Paul Sueppel! This program will start in the Auditorium with discussion on the history of snowshoeing and an overview of the benefits and different types of snowshoes. Then, you'll try out snowshoes and explore the woods and prairies on a 2-3 mile guided hike. All ages are welcome and no experience is needed, although guests should be prepared to hike 2-3 miles.
Wear either winter or hiking boots, and dress for the weather. Snowshoes are provided (rental included in program fee), or bring your own snowshoes and poles!

- $20 including the cost of snowshoe rental
- $10 if you bring your own snowshoes
About the Instructor: Paul Sueppel has been teaching outdoor classes for The University of Iowa’s since 1997. His specialties are Mountain Biking and Snowshoeing. Paul has participated in numerous snowshoe events including placing second in the Northwoods Snowshoe Championships Marathon event in Duluth MN.
