Monarch Caterpillar Adoption Registration

This year we are combining online and in-person elements to create a hybrid event, including virtual programs leading up to the day-of event, FREE caterpillar adoption*, take-home crafts / activities, milkweed seed ball making for RAGBRAI riders, educational materials, free nectar plants, vendors and more.

You have clicked on our link to adopt a caterpillar - fantastic!
There are some important things to note BEFORE you take home a hungry caterpillar - please read the following carefully prior to registration.

1.)  Limit of ONE (1) caterpillar adoption per family

2.)  You MUST have your own milkweed source to feed your hungry caterpillar or it will not survive!*

*(ICNC is unable to provide milkweed to adoptees). If you do not have a source of milkweed, click here to learn the many ways you can still participate in Monarch Fest (including online sessions, in-person activities and more)!

3.)  All caterpillars must be picked up on Saturday, July 10 between 10:30AM - 1:30PM. Once you register, we will send you a sign up link to select your pick up time!
